Trust Company has an opportunity for an experienced Management Information Systems Analyst to support our Wealth Management Division with database management of our client management systems. In addition to daily database and reporting needs, this position will be a key contributor to the long range goal development of our operational environment. The MIS Analyst will haveadvanced knowledge of and skills related to MIS applications, databases, SQL programming, associated technologies and analytical methods to support, manage, perform, and audit division-wide operations.
Primary Responsibilities
In addition to database management activities, including data extraction, analysis, and reporting to meet operational needs, this position will:
Manage, maintain, modify, and enhance existing legacy operational databases and database programs and reporting tools
Develop, analyze, recommend, and implement systems, approaches, plans, methods and procedures to make daily operations more efficient.
Work with senior leadership to review information systems objectives and user requirements, and implement appropriate procedures, policies, and systems to support these requirements.
Translate data between internal and external systems.
Support Washington Trust Technology
services
in the maintenance of software systems and provide additional MIS support for Weston Financial Group (an affiliated company).
Provide expertise, support, and coordination during system upgrades, software and hardware installations, and file maintenance managed by Technology Services.
Assist with multi-year initiative to transition information and systems to a new operating platform.
Perform periodic data and information audits and maintain electronic and physical documentation of information systems processes and activities.
Requirements/Qualifications
We are looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of technical business systems experience and basic knowledge of financial operations, MIS functions, database management and programming, preferably in a financial services organization. In addition, the successful candidate will have the following
Qualifications:
Experience in conception, design, and maintenance of custom programming software and in using revision control software.
Microsoft Access, Oracle and/or SQL server competency.
MS Office competency including MS Excel and MS Word
Strong interpersonal and team oriented communication and working skills
This position is based in our Westerly, RI office, but will require occasional travel to our Providence, RI and our Wellesley, MA offices.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
